We all use the word legend too often but there needs to be a word that means stands out from the rest of the legends and Raith Carter certainly was one of them that stands out from the rest. The only man to win medals before and after the second world war he captained Sunderland and said by the media to be the greatest ever player of the pre war football era. His autograph is very rare this is the first one we have ever seen
