1966 World Cup Double Album. One of our favorite commentaries, not withstanding Kenneth Wolstenholme.
Commentary with Geevers Win Jones, Peter Lloyd,
Gerald Sinstadt, with music from Joe Loss and his Orchestra.
Record one side one is West Germany v Uruguay, Russia v Hungary, England v Argentina and Portugal v North Korea.
Side two is the semi finals, Russia v West Germany, England v Portugal and third place Portugal v Russia.
Record two is the World Cup final 1966.
Side one.
Side two is the extra time and also the players interviews. How young Geoff Hurst sounds at that particular time!
The records are in reasonably good condition, they do play. The cover has been signed by 1966 players, however there are quite a few smudges on there. Gordon Banks is totally smudged, Alan Ball is written in Biro and is ok, Roger Hunt, the Roger is just about legible, the Hunt part is no good at all, Ray Wilson in biro is fine, Jack Charlton in Sharpy Pen is fine, Martin Peters in Biro is fine, Nobby Stiles is smudged but legible, Geoff Hurst in biro is fine and George Cohen in biro is fine. If you would like closer pictures of the signatures please give us an e-mail address and we will send you a closer image.
